Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Legacy Luncheon Hillsborough County 2022
The Mary McLeod Bethune Legacy Luncheon was inspirational, celebratory, and deeply reflective. Dr. Davina Jones' leadership continues to model the civility and courage exhibited by Dr. Bethune. The recognition of Special Guest- Congresswoman Kathy Castor and honorees Nancy Lohman, Nilda Comas , Chloe Coney, and Daisy Taylor Grimes was timely and well deserved. Hats off to Luncheon Co-Chair, Autre E. A very special thank you to the Hillsborough County Chapter and everyone in attendance who leaned into the message I titled, "Bethune's Legacy...Our Agency."
